This role will require a tester completing delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the Engineering job family and will work on building test cases and automation scripts for Salesforce components in a secure Salesforce Sales Cloud application. They are expected to work closely with Subject Matter Experts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, and execute functional and automated test cases for Salesforce software applications</li><li>Develop reusable software test scripts using test automation tools like Provar</li><li>Work closely with software engineers, technical product owners, and business partners to understand requirements and translate them into test plans</li><li>Review user stories and requirements to ensure testability and completeness</li><li>Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on Salesforce components</li><li>Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations (Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, Lightning components), and integrations</li><li>Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives</li><li>Ensure test environments are properly set up and maintained</li><li>Implement and follow QA best practices and standards</li><li>Identify areas for test process improvement and implement solutions</li><li>Consults with teammates and business partners in resolving questions during the testing process</li><li>Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering testing</li><li>Recognized internally as a subject matter expert on quality assurance</li><li>Participate in root cause analysis and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence of issues</li></ul>QualificationsRequired Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce development and customization components (e.g., Apex, Lightning, Flows)</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report issues and collaborate with team members</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong desire to learn</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) testing experience a big plus</li><li>Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools</li><li>QA or test automation certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Provar, Certified Selenium Professional) are desirable</li><li>Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator is a plus</li></ul>Required Experience &amp; Education: <ul><li>5+ years of software QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce testing</li><li>1+ years software test automation experience</li><li>4 year University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline</li><li>Experience with test automation tools such as Provar or similar</li></ul>These two sections will be “standardized” in the JD template and made not editable.Location &amp; Hours of Work&lt; &gt;Full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
