Responsibilities<ul><li>As a trusted partner, acts as a single point of contact for physicians, coordinating all aspects of locum tenens sales and service</li><li>Use proactive and assertive sales techniques over the phone to recruit physicians to contract with the company</li><li>Respond to all new customer inquiries to introduce the advantages of the company’s temporary assignment services</li><li>Establish and maintain communication and rapport with physicians to encourage a working relationship with the company</li><li>Maintain an appropriate amount of contact with new and existing clientele to influence decisions to work temporary assignments with the company</li><li>Facilitate placement of physicians by collaborating with other sales representatives and business partners, partnering together to match physician skill level, registration, board status, physician credentials and customer preferences</li><li>Ensure the smooth transition of new physicians into locum tenens service</li><li>Support and grows an appropriately-sized book of business per month</li><li>Successfully utilize a large scale database system to identify business opportunities and fulfill assignments</li><li>Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction</li><li>Maintain and updates all customer information in an in-house computer database</li><li>Appropriately partner with divisional- and corporate-level teammates to ensure the completion of QI information, assignment-related tasks, travel, housing, payroll, licensing and credentialing</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Accurately manipulates information utilizing a large-scale database system</li><li>Professional written and oral communication skills</li><li>Effective negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to communicate and understand business needs</li><li>Conceptually and mathematically able to compute and understand profit margins</li><li>Ability to be persuasive and influential in verbal and written communications</li><li>Ability to integrate individual efforts into team objectives and processes</li><li>Ability to persuade and influence verbally and in writing</li><li>Communicate and understand professional level service needs, client staffing requirements, client practices and physician credentials</li><li>Effective time management</li><li>Effectively communicate and work in a team environment, successfully integrating individual work efforts to meet team objectives</li><li>Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills</li><li>Interpretation and comprehension of team financial data</li><li>Accurately operate a multi-line phone system</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software</li><li>1-2  years of experience in the direct sales and/or phone sales of products or services</li><li>Driven, ambitious and works with a sense of urgency</li><li>Some college coursework or degree (preferred)</li><li>Experience in the health care industry (preferred)</li></ul><div>We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $60,000.00 -- $250,000.00 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience.
