As a</span><span> Software Development team, we are responsible for our Python backend, working closely with external APIs such as Google, Amazon and Bol as well as integrating with internal APIs. </span></p><p><span>The Insights team regularly builds new user-facing features, for which they collaborate with Front-end Engineers and the Product Management team. </span></p><p><span>The team is also working closely together with our Infrastructure and DevOps teams, which are developing many other services that power Channable under the hood, and all together we build our powerful tool!</span></p><p></p><p><strong><span><span>Your challenges</span></span></strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Design, develop, and test new product features.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work with external APIs (Google, Amazon, Bol).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with other team members on breaking features into smaller tasks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Review other team members’ PRs.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Improve the reliability and robustness of our application.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work on scalability and performance improvements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work together with Product Managers on requirements and issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with the Integrations department regarding technical matters.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitoring the correctness and effectiveness of our systems, and fixing bugs.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>We use the following technologies and tools:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Languages: Python(3.12), SQL.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Libraries: Pydantic, typing, requests, logging, Flask, pytest.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Tools: Postgres, Alembic, mypy, pip, Sentry, Grafana.</span></p><p></p></li></ul></div></div><h2>Job requirements</h2><div><div><p><strong><span><span>Who are you? </span></span></strong></p><p><span>You are an enthusiastic developer and a critical thinker.
