If you’re a leader who can outthink adversaries several moves ahead, navigate complex scenarios, and energize a team that delights in checking every cyber threat, we should talk.  What you’ll do: <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and coach our trailblazing Cyber Resiliency team, including in areas like cloud security engineering, threat detection and response (TDR) team, and incident readiness.  Can you lead this talented team to new heights? </li> <li>Own and evolve incident readiness: Design best-in-class 24/7 detection and lightning-fast response processes that leave attackers looking for easier targets.</li> <li>Supercharge our detection toolset. Assess and implement the latest defensive tech (traditional and new school) so we can detect, disrupt, and contain threats at machine speed before your second coffee.</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Security, and SRE to weave security best practices into every nook and cranny of our product and tech pipeline. </li> <li>Engage externally with partners, customers, and auditors, representing Chainguard’s security posture and communicating with calm confidence even on “interesting” days.</li> <li>Stay plugged in to the wild world of threat intelligence, new adversary tactics, and all the cutting-edge tricks. You can translate “zero day” into “don’t worry” for execs, engineers, and customers alike.</li> <li>Intrinsic curiosity, proactive action, and the ability to juggle multiple projects are your bread and butter. Multitasking stress dreams? You call those “Thursday.”</li> <li>Bonus points for automation chops (Go, Python, Shell, or a script of your own invention) and enthusiasm for compliance checklists.
