Acting as both a leader and a problem-solver, you’ll navigate challenges, remove blockers, and ensure your team delivers impactful, high-quality solutions that support both internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership &amp; Oversight<ul><li>Provide vision, direction, and structure for all data interface initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational strategies and client needs.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.</li><li>Build, implement, and refine workflows that maximize efficiency, clarify responsibilities, and improve team performance.</li><li>Define, monitor, and report on KPIs to track team success, identify improvement areas, and inform strategy.</li></ul>Technical &amp; Operational Execution<ul><li>Oversee the full lifecycle of data interfaces, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and ongoing support.</li><li>Collaborate with external trading partners, internal technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth integrations and consistent alignment on deliverables.</li><li>Establish and maintain data exchange standards, quality controls, and comprehensive documentation.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with data feeds, proactively addressing potential risks before they impact operations.</li><li>Serve as a technical lead on large-scale integration projects, ensuring solutions meet both immediate and long-term organizational needs.</li></ul>Process Optimization &amp; Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Develop and refine processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across the integration landscape.</li><li>Identify opportunities for automation, enhanced monitoring, and improved data quality.</li><li>Anticipate business growth and position the team to scale operations effectively.</li><li>Partner with leadership to explore new technical solutions that address evolving client and business needs.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.</li><li>7+ years in a Payor, Health Plan, Health System, or Provider organization.</li><li>5+ years working with EDI and data interfaces.</li><li>3+ years in a leadership role managing people and processes.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Deep expertise in EDI &amp; ANSI X12 healthcare transactions (834, 837, etc.).</li><li>Proven experience with non-standard transaction implementations.</li><li>Background in claims administration systems (HealthRules Payer strongly preferred).</li><li>Hands-on experience establishing new data interfaces, including mapping and transport.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL and JSON.</li><li>Track record of defining and executing application strategies and roadmaps.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving operational issues.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul>Leadership Competencies<ul><li>Communicate – Share company vision, strategy, and priorities clearly and transparently.</li><li>Clarify – Set clear expectations and define what success looks like.</li><li>Coach – Provide constructive feedback, remove blockers, and foster professional growth.</li><li>Connect – Ensure team members see the impact of their work and how it contributes to broader organizational success.</li></ul>Work Location:<ul><li>Role may be remote, preference for Buffalo, NY.</li></ul>Who we are:Centivo is an innovative health plan for self-funded employers on a mission to bring affordable, high-quality healthcare to the millions who struggle to pay their healthcare bills.
