As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare payments by leading with deep hands-on technical expertise, driving solutions independently from concept to deployment, and: <ul> <li>Leading the design and implementation of new full-stack features from end to end, driving significant, measurable impact on key business metrics and patient experience.</li> <li>Collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to enhance our platform, clearly articulating technical designs, trade-offs, and the why behind solutions.</li> <li>Building and improving our core checkout experience, payment integrations (Stripe), and differentiated payment experiences like HBA/HSA support, and third-party financing.</li> <li>Enhancing the user experience, making it easier for patients to save cards, set up autopay, and manage payment plans—core functionalities that set Cedar apart.</li> <li>Championing engineering excellence and team growth by actively mentoring peer engineers to do their best work, fostering high standards for code quality, thorough testing, effective technical debt management, performance optimizations, and reliability improvements.</li> </ul> <h3>What We Look For</h3> <ul> <li>Strong technical leadership with a track record of driving measurable, senior-level impact across the stack, influencing product direction, system architecture, and team outcomes.
