Cedar is seeking a Software Engineer II to be a core contributor on our Communications Platform squad within the Patient pillar. The Communications Platform team works in a cross-functional squad (engineering, product, and design) to engage with patients empathetically and efficiently. We build the core systems that enable flexible, reliable, and scalable communications across various channels, helping patients get the information they need and navigate their healthcare journey with confidence. <h3>The Kinds of Problems Youll Solve</h3> This isnt just about writing code; its about solving real-world challenges that have a direct impact on our users. Youll: <ul> <li>Build and enhance core communications features: Own the development of new features and enhancements to our communications platform. Youll ensure our systems are robust, secure, and scalable as we reach more patients.</li> <li>Contribute to impactful projects: Independently take on and deliver epics and smaller-scoped projects, from initial planning to post-launch maintenance. Youll proactively identify metrics to measure the impact of your work on team goals.</li> <li>Diagnose and optimize: Dive into the system to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring our platform maintains high availability and performance. Youll learn to identify and address bottlenecks to keep communications running smoothly.</li> <li>Collaborate across teams: Partner with product, design, and other engineering teams to understand patient needs and translate them into technical solutions.
