Learn more at <a href="http://get-carrot.com">get-carrot.com</a>.</div>The Role:  The Sr. Contract Manager will review, negotiate, and manage a high volume of agreements, including vendor contracts across SaaS, consulting, event, and other service categories. They will own the end-to-end contract management lifecycle of vendor contracts and MNDAs in Ironclad, including negotiation, redlining, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and escalating with commercial counsel guidance when needed. They will manage MNDAs efficiently and autonomously while partnering closely with procurement, finance, legal, and information security teams to support, align, and coordinate the vendor contracting process, ultimately streamlining the contract intake cycle. They will advise internal clients, such as business, finance, and IT teams, on contractual risk and policy, serving as a key escalation point for contract-related inquiries. Additionally, they will maintain, enhance, and optimize Ironclad contract workflows and clause templates or playbooks, and ensure accurate contract records, data integrity, and reporting within contract management tools. As a subject matter expert for legal operations, they will focus on process optimization, supporting continued automation and improvements to the contract lifecycle.  Importantly, they will also foster cross-functional collaboration by operating with high attention to detail and urgency. The Team:  The Sr. Contract Manager reports to Carrot’s Associate General Counsel, Commercial and sits within a pod of other legal professionals, including other contract managers, attorneys and legal ops professionals.  Minimum Qualifications:  <ul> <li>Minimum 3+ years of experience in contract management, with substantial involvement in vendor and professional services agreements (including SaaS).</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and managing contracts using Ironclad.</li> <li>Significant experience supporting or partnering with procurement teams; comfort managing intake, routing, and approvals for vendor documentation.</li> <li>High volume contract management experience in dynamic, scaling environments.</li> <li>Experience working in—and onboarding with—a fully remote company; strong remote communication and self-management skills.</li> <li>Basic understanding of commercial contract law, best practices, and risk identification.</li> <li>Ability to communicate via video conferencing with internal and external parties to finalize the contracting process.</li> <li>Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, managing competing priorities, and delivering results under pressure.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Technical acumen with Ironclad workflow coding/configuration.</li> <li>Background in legal operations, with a focus on contract automation and process optimization.</li> <li>Familiarity with reviewing agreements involving data use (PII and/or PHI) and identifying data privacy issues</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Zip procurement software.</li> </ul>   Compensation:  Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $80,000.00 - $90,000.00.
