Within this team, the Fresh &amp; Ultra Fresh vertical plays a pivotal role in driving selection, availability, and service experience for perishable goods. We are passionate about delivering high-quality produce and perishables with speed, accuracy, and reliability. <h3>What you’ll do</h3> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end supply planning for the F&amp;V Private Label category, ensuring optimal freshness and availability across stores.</li> <li>Source high-quality F&amp;V products from multiple suppliers in the Riyadh wholesale market, balancing quality, cost, and reliability.</li> <li>Build and maintain a stable and diversified supplier network to ensure continuous supply throughout the year.</li> <li>Oversee the packing process to ensure all private-label produce meets Careem’s quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.</li> <li>Plan and coordinate the distribution and replenishment process from the packing site to all Careem stores, maintaining sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste.</li> <li>Develop demand forecasts that incorporate seasonality, promotions, and historical sales trends.</li> <li>Manage short shelf-life inventory with a focus on reducing wastage and markdowns.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with category, sourcing, and operations teams to align on demand, pricing, and logistics priorities.</li> <li>Build and maintain tracking dashboards and reports to monitor supply chain KPIs, including fill rates, wastage, and freshness scores.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing, packing, and distribution efficiency. </li> </ul> <h3>What you’ll need</h3> <ul> <li>3–5 years of experience in supply planning, sourcing, or demand planning — ideally within fresh food, F&amp;V, grocery, or retail industries.</li> <li>Strong understanding of perishable supply chains, shelf-life dynamics, and quality control processes.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with sourcing from local F&amp;V markets and managing supplier relationships.</li> <li>Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with SQL, BI tools, or ERP systems is a plus.</li> <li>Strong coordination skills to manage cross-functional stakeholders (sourcing, warehouse, last-mile, and category).</li> <li>Highly analytical, proactive, and adaptable in fast-changing market environments.</li> <li>Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage. </li> </ul> What we’ll provide you We offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
