We partner closely with teams across the organization to guide strategy, allocate resources efficiently, and drive sustainable growth.</div> <p></p> <div><strong>About the role:</strong><br />We are seeking a <strong>Senior Manager – Financial Reporting</strong> to lead Careem’s global reporting and consolidation from Karachi. The role ensures compliance with <strong>IFRS</strong>, Uber group reporting, e&amp; group requirements, and statutory filings across multiple markets.</div> <div> </div> <div><strong></strong></div> <div><strong>What you’ll do</strong></div> <ul> <li>Lead monthly, quarterly &amp; annual <strong>IFRS consolidations</strong>.</li> <li>Manage <strong>reporting to Uber (rides) and e&amp; (non-rides)</strong>.</li> <li>Oversee statutory audits across MENAP with Big 4.</li> <li>Ensure correct application of <strong>IFRS 15 (Revenue)</strong> across Careem’s businesses.</li> <li>Strengthen financial controls and group accounting policies.</li> <li>Liaise with Uber/e&amp; finance teams and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Mentor the Karachi-based reporting team and drive automation.</li> </ul> <div><strong></strong> <div><strong>Qualification</strong></div> <div><strong></strong> <ul> <li>ACA / ACCA / CPA (Big 4 background strongly preferred).</li> <li>8–12 years’ experience, with 3–5 in senior reporting/consolidation.</li> </ul> </div> <strong></strong></div> <div><strong>What youll need</strong></div> <ul> <li>Strong IFRS knowledge; multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations.</li> <li>Proficiency in ERP/consolidation systems (HFM/Oracle/SAP).</li> <li>Exposure to <strong>Big Data / analytics</strong> and working knowledge of <strong>SQL</strong> preferred.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>What we’ll provide you</strong></p> <p>We offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
