Role Overview
The Procurement Manager will play a key role in supporting the global procurement team based in Jordan. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering measurable cost savings across a diverse, multi-functional spend portfolio while ensuring agility and scalability as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Analysis & Reporting

Support execution of the global procurement strategy with a focus on Jordan, through structured spend analysis, benchmarking, and aligning transformation goals.
Identify cost optimization opportunities across functional areas to achieve hard savings and improved procurement outcomes.
Monitor procurement performance metrics and generate reports for internal stakeholders.

Sourcing & Vendor Management

Lead sourcing initiatives including vendor discovery, evaluation, competitive bidding, and negotiation.
Leverage vendor management systems to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement across the supply base.
Ensure effective vendor performance monitoring and risk mitigation strategies are in place.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

Develop strong, trust-based relationships with internal business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and procurement needs.
Serve as a trusted advisor on sourcing decisions and procurement best practices.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business goals.

Cost Control & Compliance

Promote and enforce procurement policies to ensure compliance and mitigate non-compliant purchasing.
Drive adoption of standardized tools and processes that enable faster procurement cycles and cost control.
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to global ethics and compliance policies.

Continuous Improvement

Identify areas of inefficiency or risk in procurement processes and implement corrective actions.
Keep abreast of market trends and supplier innovations to continuously evolve procurement strategies.

Candidate Profile
Experience & Technical Skills

Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement; industry exposure in telco, FMCG, or tech sectors is preferred.
Experience in strategic sourcing including spend assessment, market research, and supplier forecasting.
Proven track record managing indirect categories such as professional services, marketing, and general services.
Experience operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments; Jordan market knowledge is required.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
