This function collaborates closely with indirect procurement (IDP), solution owners, enterprise architecture, finance, and software vendor management to mitigate commercial and legal risks and minimize the impact of potential software renewal price increases.Job SummaryWith responsibility for the renewal planning and strategy portion of the software renewal lifecycle, the Software Renewals Senior Consultant proactively identifies and manages upcoming renewals, collaborates with third-party market research and benchmarking vendors to proactively forecast potential cost increases and commercial risks, collaborates with solution owners to evaluate historical vendor relationship and performance, and documents renewal strategies that maximize value creation. Provides direction and support to the other software supplier management team members as they facilitate software renewal activities.
