Collaboration and people leadership are key attributes required for success in this role. This leader will direct a team of 8 (located in Florida &amp; Georgia) and closely collaborate with 5 regional sales directors who each lead a team of similar size and aligned goals. Responsibility:<ul><li>Responsible for driving growth within the region for Lab business across both distribution services and laboratory products.</li><li>Foster a high-performance culture though robust performance management and talent development. Fosters and supports effective teamwork, accountability and innovation.</li><li>Act as a change agent by leading change and helping others to understand and implement change to ensure business objectives are met.</li><li>Remove barriers for team through cross-functional relationships.</li><li>Prepare regular reports and analysis including business plans, customer correspondence, budget/expenses and others.</li><li>Manage &amp; enhance key customer relationships</li><li>Collaborate across Cardinal Health to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes within the segment.</li><li>Demonstrate professional development initiatives: keep abreast of competitive landscape, market insights, and effectively communicate across key internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Support &amp; execute business unit initiatives.  Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>8+ years healthcare sales experience in distribution, Medical/Laboratory products preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of clinical laboratory market and diagnostic testing, strongly preferred</li><li>Successful track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share within defined region</li><li>Proven leadership capabilities, including ability to manage diverse personalities/skill sets in a changing environment. Strong ability to develop relationships internally and externally at all levels up to and including C-Suite</li><li>Excellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills</li><li>Demonstrated matrix management skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams</li><li>Executive presence and solid presentation and communication capabilities</li><li>Live within the region and can travel 50% domestically, booking travel according to Cardinal Health’s travel policy.  </li><li>Customer/Vendor credentialing may be required (this may include vaccinations).
