We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to support the Rebates and Incentives team in chargebacks and supplier, customer rebates &amp; compliance areas.  This position will work with the different business teams to design and improve SAP &amp; Vistex supported solutions.  Responsibilities: <ul><li>Execution and management of the SAP Pharma business processes for chargebacks, rebates, compliance, pharma contracts and other areas.</li><li>Execution and management of the Vistex solutions for – chargebacks, rebates, compliance, contracts and pricing functionality that supports the Pharma business segment.</li><li>Explore and drive technical change and innovation in SAP including exploring S/4 and ECC and RISE.</li><li>Support the integration with external applications like EDI and others.</li><li>Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensure deviations from “out of the box” functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition</li><li>Identifying synergies and optimization areas within the RNI domain and managing the execution.</li><li>Understand the solution and be able to test it as required.</li><li>Driving end-user satisfaction by using specific metrics.</li><li>Provide leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management.</li><li>Provide support in preparing and conducting prioritization meetings (for enhancements and defects) with the RNI functional partners.</li><li>Help in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners to deliver solutions for value-add business functions.</li><li>Collaborating with other process tower leaders (OTC, PTP, RTR, and non-SAP systems) to ensure a cohesive solution without impacting cross functional and downstream processes or applications.</li><li>Ensure all critical RNI processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurrent incidents.</li><li>Closely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals.</li><li>Closely work with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and stable operations.</li><li>Accountable for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings on the SAP Pharma platform.</li><li>Responsible for the KPIs and BPM metrics that support current and future Pharma business units on SAP.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3–6 years of SAP experience, with demonstrated experience in Vistex modules such as Chargebacks, Billbacks, Agreements, and Memberships, preferred.</li><li>Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.</li><li>Strong functional and configuration knowledge in Vistex modules along with pricing functions with focus on Supplier rebates, Customer rebates, Chargebacks, Contracts. </li><li>Experienced in all global SAP aspects, including defining &amp; assigning Enterprise Structure, Master data, Sales Order processing and purchasing functions.</li><li>Interfaces: Should have hands on in interface in different system like SAP to SAP and SAP to Non-SAP</li><li>IDOC: Should have good work experience in handling IDOC issues.</li><li>Strong collaboration and leadership skills.</li><li>Strong business acumen in Pharmaceutical wholesale distribution space.</li><li>Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical capabilities and solutions.</li><li>Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies.</li><li>Strong experience in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with our functional partners to deliver quality business solutions.</li><li>Ability to develop individuals and teams.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Experience in providing direction to the teams in managing and troubleshoot complex interfaces involving multiple systems (e.g. SalesForce, Order Express (Web Order Entry), Manhattan, SAP MDG, IBM MDM, IDM, EDI, ECM, IronPort, PlanetPress, etc.) and middleware applications.</li></ul>What Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health<ul><li>Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the companys business objectives.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.</li><li>Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.</li><li>Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.</li><li>Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.</li><li>Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.</li><li>Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents.
