Let’s do this! 🚀 About the Role We are looking for a BI Engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for turning raw data into meaningful insights. You will design and maintain data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, and create analytical models and dashboards that drive business decision-making. While your core focus will be analytics, you will also leverage automation tools like n8n to streamline data collection, transformation, and reporting. Your work will provide our teams, management, and investors with a single source of truth for key business metrics.🎯 Here’s What You’ll Be DoingData Engineering &amp; Analytics:<ul> <li>Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from SaaS tools, internal databases, and external APIs into data warehouses.</li> <li>Model, clean, and validate datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Build dashboards and reports in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) for operational, financial, and product insights.</li> <li>Define and maintain business KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.</li> </ul>Automation &amp; Workflow Integration<ul> <li>Use tools like n8n (or Zapier/Make) to automate recurring data collection, enrichment, and reporting tasks.</li> <li>Build workflows that connect APIs, databases, and analytics platforms for near real-time updates.</li> <li>Develop Python scripts and services for custom automation and data transformations.</li> </ul>Collaboration &amp; Enablement<ul> <li>Partner with business teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.</li> <li>Document data models, pipelines, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility.</li> <li>Coach team members on using BI tools and automation best practices. </li> </ul>🔑 What You Bring<ul> <li>3+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics.</li> <li>Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one data warehouse or lake (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, DuckDB).</li> <li>Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and ensuring data quality.</li> <li>Proficiency in at least one BI visualization tool (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).</li> <li>Solid understanding of APIs, REST, and data integration patterns.</li> <li>Python skills for data processing, automation, or analytics.</li> <li>Experience with low-code automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make) is a plus.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly. </li> </ul>Nice-to-Have<ul> <li>Experience building custom nodes or connectors in n8n or similar platforms.</li> <li>Familiarity with dbt, Airbyte, or other modern data stack tools.</li> <li>Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues.</li> <li>Experience embedding AI-powered analytics or predictive models into BI workflows. </li> </ul>🌍 Our Promise At Carbyne, we celebrate diversity and strive for a workplace where everyone belongs.
