But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.We’re looking for a Brand Designer (Growth Marketing) to join Canva on a 6-month contract. In this role, you’ll focus on performance creative production, delivering ad assets, UGC edits, and lifecycle visuals for our EMEA market.You’ll work on both always-on creative sprints across paid channels such as Meta, TikTok, and Google Display, and campaign deliverables across owned channels such as lifecycle emails and app store assets. You’ll collaborate with marketers on creative concepts and ad visuals, ensuring outputs are both on-brand and optimized for performance.At the moment, this role is focused on:<ul><li>Assisting in monthly creative sprint ad assets in both static and motion/video format</li><li>Designing for UGC/lo-fi style video sprints and experiments (e.g. hook and CTA testing, editing)</li><li>Assisting with copy for GIF/banners and app marketing assets for always-on creative refreshers and local seasonal campaigns</li><li>Emailing, in-app, and app storefront campaign banners to support local campaigns and experiments</li><li>Writing, review, and dream up ideas for Canva’s brand, product, and performance campaigns.</li><li>Supporting campaigns from the initial idea to final execution, always staying true to Canva’s brand and strategy.</li><li>Confidently pitching concepts and present your work to senior creative leaders, product marketers, and key stakeholders with a clear creative vision and strategic reasoning.</li><li>Collaborating with external partners, sharing guidance and feedback to keep messaging consistent and high-quality.</li><li>Working closely with the Creative Director to ensure schedules are accurate and realistic and that deadlines are met.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and adapt static, video, and motion ads across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Display.</li><li>Edit and optimize UGC videos for ad sprints.</li><li>Collaborate with marketers to translate strategy and insights into effective creatives.</li><li>Contribute to conceptualization for growth marketing campaigns and lifecycle assets.</li><li>Ensure all outputs are optimized for channel specs, on-brand, and localized for EMEA market.</li><li>Share creative learnings and insights to strengthen future testing and production.</li></ul>Youre probably a match if<ul><li>You have strong design portfolio showcasing digital ads, motion graphics, or UGC video edits.</li><li>You have proficiency in design tools</li><li>You have experience creating content for Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, or other performance channels.</li><li>You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to adapt creative concepts across multiple formats and sizes.</li><li>You’re a collaborative partner who can work closely with marketers and other creatives.</li><li>You have an understanding of cultural trends and how to translate them into design.</li></ul>We’re seeking a designer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is excited by the challenge of bringing ideas to life ondigital media.
