As we move into new markets and scale our operations, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be at the forefront of this growth.This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our expansion by building a robust top-of-funnel pipeline for our Account Executive team through strategic and highly targeted outbound efforts. If youre eager to drive meaningful impact and help propel Candid into new markets, wed love to have you on board.<h1>What You’ll Be Doing</h1><h1></h1><ul><li>Own the Outbound Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic outbound plan to build a pipeline of new customers across various new markets. This includes crafting targeted messaging for cold calls, emails, and meetings with physician organizations, MSOs, and PE-backed roll-ups ranging from mid-market to large enterprise.</li><li>Generate and Qualify Leads: Use a mix of prospecting tools and your own research to identify and qualify key decision-makers and target companies. You will be heavily involved in the initial discovery and qualification phase of the sales process.</li><li>Optimize the Sales Playbook: Help build and refine the sales playbook for current and future sellers. Your insights will be critical in developing best practices and scaling our sales efforts as we grow.</li><li>Partner for Success: Work closely with Account Executives to seamlessly hand off highly qualified leads that translate into new business.</li><li>Leverage Data: Use Salesforce and other sales automation tools to track and report on key sales metrics. You will manage and prioritize your sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.</li><li>Be a Market Expert: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and the needs of our target clients in new markets. Continuously educate yourself on Candids evolving products and value proposition to effectively differentiate us from the competition.</li></ul><h1>Who You Are</h1><ul><li>Experienced and Results-Oriented: You have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a strategic outreach role, where building meaningful connections is a key focus. Experience as an SDR or in business development is a plus, but not required. You have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding goals.</li><li>A Confident Communicator: You are comfortable and confident making cold calls and have strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Disciplined and Resourceful: You exemplify organization, discipline, and resourcefulness in your work, able to manage your time and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proactive and Curious: You are constantly looking for ways to improve not only your own performance but also the overall sales strategy. The listed range is a guideline from <a target="_blank" href="https://www.pave.com/">Pave</a> data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits. Given Candid Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Candid Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
