About the role:
Camping World seeks a highly critical thinker and quick-witted Community Manager to be our brands voice and ears across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, X, YouTube, Reddit, and Broadcast Channels. This role is for someone who thrives in the fast pace of internet culture, jumps into conversations confidently, and knows how to turn everyday interactions into meaningful brand moments. You’ll be responsible for keeping a pulse on our community, engaging with customers and creators in real time, and bringing sharp judgment and creativity to every reply.
Key Responsibilities:
● Monitor and respond to mentions, comments, and DMs with empathy and brand voice
● Escalate complex support issues to internal teams and tag patterns for trend tracking
● Proactively engage with relevant conversations to boost visibility and spark engagement
● Hype up creators, customers, and employees using platform-appropriate voice
● Reply to top comments with strategic or witty responses that drive interaction
● Identify trending questions and fan sentiments that could inspire content
● Surface highlights, themes, and sentiment each week for our brands, the RV industry, and broader marketing and culture trends
● Monitor UGC tags and brand mentions for high-quality, repostable content
● Engage with creators and flag standout talent for potential brand partnerships
● Respond to product questions and monitor audience sentiment on influencer content
● Analyze weekly comments and share trends to evaluate post-level performance
● Monitor follower sentiment shifts and report on inbound volume and FAQs
● Deliver a monthly social scorecard summarizing key metrics and insights
Requirements:
● Passion for digital communities, internet culture, and social platform behaviors.
● Proven ability to strategize, evolve, and maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms.
● Detail-oriented with strong written communication and critical thinking skills.
● Experience handling community engagement, social listening, or customer service in a digital environment.
● Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate clearly, and escalate thoughtfully.
● Organized and proactive with a pulse on internet trends, memes, and emerging formats.
● Comfortable in a hybrid or remote work setting.
Preferred:
● Previous experience in community management or social media engagement
● Familiarity with tools like Sprout, Meta Business Suite, or Reddit mod tools
● Understanding of influencer ecosystems and creator culture
● Confident, curious, and highly collaborative
● Interest in RVing, travel, or the outdoors is a plus
Pay Range:
