Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Hardware, this role will own: supply contracts &amp; negotiations, product launch support, cost optimization, purchasing &amp; procurement, and more.</p><p>If you are a high-ownership leader with a history of producing results and managing all-star teams, this is the role for you.</p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul> <li>Source, Negotiate &amp; Execute Supply Contracts – Identify, assess, and secure agreements with suppliers and contract manufacturers in the U.S. and across key Asian markets. Negotiate terms that balance cost, quality, speed, and risk. Hold suppliers accountable to contractual obligations on delivery, quality, and cost.</li> <li>Product Launch Support – Rapidly translate hardware requirements into multiple manufacturing/fabrication solutions, evaluate trade-offs in speed, quality, and total cost, and secure suppliers to meet launch timelines.</li> <li>Component &amp; Cost Optimization – Lead component transitions, recommend substitutes, and adjust sourcing strategies in response to tariff/import/export changes to reduce cost and mitigate supply risk.</li> <li>Supplier Management &amp; Enforcement – Build strong, collaborative supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with contracts and performance expectations. Proactively address underperformance and enforce remedies where necessary.</li> <li>Purchasing &amp; Procurement Execution – Oversee all purchasing activities to ensure required parts and materials are procured and delivered on time to meet operational needs.</li> <li>Supplier Quality – Collaborate with internal teams to quickly resolve quality issues, secure replacements for defective materials, and minimize operational disruption.</li> <li>Process Improvement – Drive continuous improvements in supply chain processes, focusing on efficiency, delivery reliability, and cost-effectiveness.</li> <li>Stakeholder Engagement – Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Quality, and Finance teams to align supply chain decisions and actions with business objectives.</li> </ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul> <li>10+ years of experience in electronics supply chain management, sourcing, or procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.</li> <li>Proven success in negotiating and executing supplier and contract manufacturer agreements in the U.S. and Asia.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, including tariffs, import/export regulations, and risk mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Experience with component transitions, substitutions, and cost optimization initiatives.</li> <li>Demonstrated success in scaling supply chains to support rapid product growth and complex hardware introductions.</li> <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Hands-on execution ability paired with strategic thinking.</li> <li>Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.</li> <li>Proven experience with leveraging AI tools in both professional and personal settings.
