As the Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of event marketing at AlignOps. This includes customer-, partner-, and prospect-facing industry trade shows and conferences. You will play a key role in ensuring our brand presence is strong, aligned with our strategic goals, and delivers measurable results. You’ll report into the GTM Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and demand generation, to ensure our events drive lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Event Strategy &amp; Planning  <ul> <li>Develop and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy that aligns with AlignOps business goals and targets key audiences in the construction industry.</li> <li>Own the planning, coordination, and execution of in-person and virtual events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and internal events.</li> <li>Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution.</li> <li>Define event success metrics and lead post-event analysis to measure impact and continuously optimize future initiatives.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Team Collaboration <ul> <li>Partner across the marketing team to coordinate event strategy, planning, logistics, and best practices that align with broader campaign goals.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure event efforts integrate effectively with product launches, campaigns, and customer programs.</li> <li>Delegate tasks effectively and ensure alignment between the broader marketing team and event efforts.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Cross-functional collaboration  <ul> <li>Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and content teams to create compelling event content, presentations, and materials.</li> <li>Partner with demand generation and sales enablement to connect event engagement with pipeline creation and customer expansion opportunities.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Event Execution  <ul> <li>Coordinate pre-event planning, event-day execution, and post-event follow-up activities.</li> <li>Work closely with the sales and demand generation teams to ensure event campaigns are integrated into the overall marketing strategy, driving attendance and engagement.</li> <li>Oversee event promotion strategies, including email marketing, social media, and landing pages, in collaboration with the digital marketing team.</li> <li>Ensure on-brand, high-quality execution that reflects AlignOps’ standards and customer experience goals.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Lead Generation &amp; ROI  <ul> <li>Ensure each event contributes to lead generation and customer engagement, working closely with the demand generation team to track leads and measure ROI.</li> <li>Monitor and report on event performance metrics, including lead conversion, attendee engagement, and return on investment (ROI).</li> <li>Partner with sales to support lead follow-up efforts after each event, ensuring seamless communication and tracking.</li> <li>Continuously refine event strategies based on performance insights and industry best practices.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Brand Presence &amp; Awareness  <ul> <li>Maintain and enhance AlignOps presence at industry events, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning.</li> <li>Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities that will increase brand visibility and industry authority.</li> <li>Seek thought leadership opportunities—such as speaking engagements or panel participation—to further strengthen brand authority.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Other duties as assigned </li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment. </li> <li>Proven track record of planning and executing successful in-person and virtual events. <ul> <li>Experience managing or mentoring junior staff or specialists with strong leadership and team management skills.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams or external partners to achieve event objectives and deliver results.</li> <li>Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and priorities simultaneously.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Strong understanding of event marketing tactics, lead generation, and ROI measurement.</li> <li>Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track event performance and lead conversions.</li> <li>Proven ability to think strategically and creatively while being data-driven and focused on results.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage internal teams and external partners.</li> <li>Experience in the construction or industrial sector is a plus but not required.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.</li> </ul> This is a full-time remote position located in the United States. Employees hired within a designated radius of the office are expected to work on-site according to a schedule set by management based on the requirements of their role. Benefits &amp; Compensation <ul> <li>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$85,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. </li> <li>The AlignOps benefit program includes health, dental, and vision coverage.
