We are seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to work closely with and assist the Product Innovation Team. A Businessolver Internship offers stimulating and purposeful work, the opportunity to apply education to real hands-on experience and immersion in a unique and innovative company culture. The Gig:
- Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize a number of tasks effectively
- Must have great communication skills for providing customer service, taking instruction and providing thorough documentation
- Available at least 30 hours a week
- Work on modifying and optimizing SQL queries
- Able to work on BI tools to visualize the data and find some insights
- Innovative design and analysis of enhancements
- Actively participate in discussions, coding, and testing
- Test and document coding changes
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must currently enrolled and at least completed 3rd year in bachelors degree (4-year applicable college program) or 1st year in masters degree or higher.
- Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize a number of tasks effectively
- Must have great communication skills for providing customer service, taking instruction and providing thorough documentation
- Intermediate to Advance visualization skill set desired
- Advance Excel skills
- Familiarity with Python and SQL
- Knowledge of AWS preferred (not required)
The pay rate for this position is $23.40 per hour (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).
