We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as the Finance Analyst.  WHAT YOU’LL DO  The Finance Analyst will support the FP&amp;A team, which is responsible for managing the planning and forecasting process through insightful analyses to enhance company decision-making and profitability. This role provides detailed reporting and analysis used by the executive team, investors, and lenders.  WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions)  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.  <ul> <li>Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly financial reporting, including commentary and recommendations for the leadership team. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual results to budget/forecast, identifying drivers of performance, and recommending corrective actions. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coordinate with accounting to ensure accuracy of financial information. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Partner with business leaders on activities related to the FP&amp;A team. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Review results and provide decision-support insights for investments or cost-savings initiatives. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Identify and report on key metrics to ensure accountability across the company, including metrics for Quarterly Board Reporting. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with HR on the requisition process to ensure personnel headcount and costs are managed effectively. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Build strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Partner with Sales to build financial models and review pricing for new business and renewals. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Review quarterly SLA and Bad Debt reserves. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assist with detailed cash flow and balance sheet projections, supporting the treasury team as needed. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support senior finance leadership (Finance Manager/Director, VP of Finance, CFO, and executive team) on key financial decisions. </li> </ul>   WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience)  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>2+ years of progressive responsibility in financial analysis. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience performing variance analysis and presenting insights to leadership. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Solid financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborative business partner, adept at building cross-functional relationships. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth company. </li> </ul>   NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Education and Experience)  <ul> <li>Experience working for SaaS companies. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with NetSuite and Oracle PBCS. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience working within a Private Equity ownership structure. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrated high ethical standards. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Influential, collaborative, and a strong relationship builder. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrates urgency, resourcefulness, and drive; a true self-starter. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Team-oriented mindset. </li> </ul>   OTHER DUTIES  Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Specific benefit offerings vary by position and may be subject to change.   Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description.      In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future &amp; continued salary growth.
