The Operations Rotational Program Throughout this 18-20 month program, youll rotate through two of our Operations teams, learning about risk management, operations, and data analysis. Youll contribute to critical process improvements and developments, implementing our processes while leveraging AI to streamline workflows and enhance decision-making. Youll challenge the status quo, bringing insights from each rotation to the next to improve cross-team communication and efficiency. We believe in a founder mindset — and this program is designed to show you how you can take ownership of your growth. During each rotation, youll complete a core project focused on key data insights, process implementation, or process improvement—many of which will involve exploring and applying AI solutions. Youll then have the opportunity to share your findings with your program class and Brex Executives. The program is supported by our leadership team, and youll have frequent meetings with various Brex leaders. This provides a unique opportunity to work closely with and learn from executives who are at the forefront of building an AI-native company. Where Youll Work This role will be based in our São Paulo office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of two coordinated days in the office per week, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work! Responsibilities <ul> <li>Handle day-to-day operational tasks efficiently.</li> <li>Analyze business inefficiencies and propose process improvements to leadership, leveraging AI to drive solutions.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with various teams to streamline processes and create AI-powered workflows that improve automation and decision-making.</li> <li>Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Data, and Product to translate business needs into practical automation solutions.</li> <li>Contribute to the long-term strategy for Brexs AI-native roadmap, exploring and integrating new tools and frameworks to enhance internal operations.</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience using AI tools and applying effective prompting skills.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort working through ambiguity.</li> <li>Passion for business operations, internal tools, and the application of AI and automation to improve efficiency and enable scale.</li> <li>Proven ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively.</li> <li>Desire to contribute in a fast-paced environment with a founding team member mindset.</li> </ul> Bonus Points <ul> <li>Major, minor, or coursework in a field relevant to AI and data, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Information Systems, or other Engineering.</li> <li>Basic knowledge or proficiency in programming languages such as but not limited to Python, JavaScript, or SQL.</li> <li>Experience with personal projects, a portfolio of work, or participation in competitions (e.g., Hackathons) focused on AI, machine learning, or data analysis.</li> <li>Leadership roles in university clubs or organizations related to data science, AI, computer science, or business analytics.</li> <li>Prior internships/full-time roles in an operational, data, or technical role, especially where you were involved in process improvement or automation.</li> <li>Familiarity with Retool, Salesforce, Hex, and Looker.</li> </ul> **Note: Application must be submitted in English in order to be considered<div>Please be aware, job-seekers may be at risk of targeting by malicious actors looking for personal data.
