Entity: People, Culture &amp; Communications Job Family Group: HR Group Job Description: The Early Careers Recruitment Senior Advisor is responsible for delivering the end-to-end cycle of early careers hiring processes across early engagement, attraction, pipeline building, selection, onboarding and programme management for a specific set of business fields and/or countries – recruiting talent from school leavers through to interns and graduates.You will also lead a specific group of university and external partnerships and work closely with hiring managers, early careers development, wider talent teams and local People and Culture &amp; Communications (PC&amp;C) team to ensure that the BP early careers talent strategy is realised, with a focus on quality of hire, Diversity Equity &amp; Inclusion (DE&amp;I) and critical capabilities.Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Recruitment Process Management: Responsible for running the end-to-end process for early careers hiring in close collaboration with hiring managers, business leaders and other local PC&amp;C teams.  Maintains and owns the full recruitment lifecycle and operating model for early career recruitment, ensuring efficiency and compliance, quality hiring decisions, standard process, an exceptional candidate and business experience, and timely fulfillment of hiring needs.</li><li>Universities &amp; External Partners: Cultivate strong strategic partnerships with a specific set of local universities/external partners in their market to position bp as an employer of choice.  Understanding of university landscape/course content relative to their subject area alignment, identifying, engaging and partnering with institutions that deliver on bp future skills and DE&amp;I needs, and employs partnerships to address skills shortages.  Is a bp ambassador and supports delivery of flagship attraction events in relevant markets (both in person and virtual), building internal support and engagement of subject area specific bp volunteers for campus attraction campaigns</li><li>Diversity &amp; Inclusion: Supports and aids the design of recruitment initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion, ensuring early career hiring reflects the communities bp serves.  Partners with local leadership to design, implement and complete the early careers Early Engagement strategy for the region to support skills and diversity talent pipelines at a subject area level and in line with future demand needs.  Takes a lead role in supporting a defined strand within the early careers DE&amp;I strategy.</li><li>Strategic Delivery: Delivers tailored recruitment strategies aligned to the early careers operating model to attract, engage, pipeline and recruit early career talent, ensuring alignment with bp’s growth objectives and workforce planning requirements within their subject area/markets. Proactively evaluates and improves recruitment performance through effective use and analysis of metrics on a regular basis.  Understands the early careers marketplace, trends, candidate behaviour and selection outcomes, with a focus on lessons learned, continuous improvement and finds opportunities for future campaigns at a subject area level. </li><li>Partner Engagement: Is a regional talent guide, engages continually with key business and local PC&amp;C partners to ensure that the Future Talent service is relevant and delivering value against business priorities.  Leads hiring strategy meetings with business to agree on recruitment and sourcing strategy, provide insights on market data, and offer effective early careers talent acquisition solutions.  Engages, influences and builds internal sponsorship to support early careers hiring campaigns in order to deliver hiring demand requirements efficiently and consistently.</li><li>One Team Mind-Set: Role models early careers standard process, builds positive working partnerships with their global counterparts, supporting global subject area and delivery alignment through the Global Discipline Network.  Acts as a coach to less experienced team members to support capability development, plays their part in making work fun</li><li>Technology Utilization: Leverage recruitment technologies to optimize processes and support data-driven decision-making, ensuring effective utilization of Future Talent software and digital solutions to drive efficiencies in processes.</li><li>Collaboration: Partners with Early Careers Development team colleagues and supports delivery of onboarding ensuring flawless handover of candidate responsibility.</li></ul>Essential Job Experience and Requirements<ul><li>Project Management: Lead multiple high volume recruitment pipelines simultaneously, while ensuring timely delivery of high calibre and diverse hires. </li><li>Relationship/Partner Management: Strong partner management skills, with validated ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external partners.  Lead, engage and educate internal partners and hiring managers on early careers recruitment strategies and standard process.</li><li>Validated experience of planning, developing and delivering end-to-end high volume early careers campaigns across multiple channels, employing effective solutions to build early engagement talent pipelines.</li><li>Experience of early careers engagement and recruiting standard process at a regional level - including knowledge of early careers specific market windows, competitor landscape and academic structures.</li><li>Experienced in early engagement programmes - has validated experience in designing and delivering early engagement programmes for early careers hiring, with validated and measurable outcomes that impact final hiring results.</li><li>Data-Driven Decision Making/Analytical Thinking: Validated experience using early careers recruitment metrics / insights, both internal &amp; external, to identify talent and implement attraction/engagement strategies to build pipelines to support hiring outcomes e.g. sourcing strategies and early careers candidate targeting at course/intuitional/geographic level</li><li>Validated ability to multi-task across challenging early careers recruiting tasks at volume and with pace e.g. screening and interviewing, interview day / assessment centre planning and facilitation partner management, early engagement recruitment / pipelining, on/off-site attraction &amp; engagement event delivery.</li></ul>Why join us?At bp, we support our people to learn and grow in a diverse and challenging environment.
