The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, cloud technologies (particularly Azure), and CI/CD processes. This role will work on building and enhancing back end solutions with a focus on high-quality, maintainable code and modern cloud practices.</div><h3>Information Security Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols</li><li>Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets</li><li>Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)</li><li>Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information</li></ul><h3>Role and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Develop, enhance, and maintain backend systems and APIs </li><li>Implement solutions using Azure serverless services (Azure Functions, Runbooks, Logic Apps)  </li><li>Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily in Azure DevOps </li><li>Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure high code quality </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions </li><li>Follow industry best practices for development, including version control (Git) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Strong proficiency in Python (knowledge of PowerShell a plus) </li><li>Deep understanding of REST APIs and their design principles </li><li>Solid experience with standard development practices, including version control (Git), as well as infrastructure as code (Terraform),  </li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) </li><li>Strong knowledge of cloud computing, specifically Azure serverless services </li><li>Solid experience with testing methodologies, including unit testing and integration testing </li><li>Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures a plus </li><li>Hands-on experience integrating with APIs from platforms such as Atlassian, BitWarden, Dropbox, Microsoft Graph, GSuite, Kandji, Slack, SolarWinds, and Zoom a plus.</li></ul><div>We invite you to stay connected with us by subscribing to our monthly job openings alert <a href="https://www.bounteous.com/careers/#contact-us-footer">here</a>.</div><div><br /></div><div>Bounteous is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
