Service Now Developer, Mid

Key Role:

Work in tandem with multiple Enterprise Technology Services and Solutions (ETSS) teams as part of the Service Operations Platform team to incorporate, support and ensure the accuracy of client computing environments ServiceNow CMDB discovery process. Play a crucial role in building and maintaining the configuration management inventory. Create self-service support article to assist users with the discovery and visibility process. Ensure exceptional service at every customer interaction point. Respond to inquiries from technical stakeholders within service-level agreements. Educate technical stakeholders about tools, policies, and processes and how to view and manage their inventory. 

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods

• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow implementation and integration focused on ITSM, ITOM, and Software Asset Management (SAM) in a government hosted DevSecOps environment

• Experience in developing with web technologies, including JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS

• Experience with front-end frameworks, including React or Angular

• Experience in developing interactive web applications with TypeScript or JavaScript

• Experience with SQL syntax and queries and API development, including REST architectures

• Experience with Linux Operating Systems, Amazon Web Services, scripting languages, including Bash, and managing code using repositories or processes such as GitLab or GitHub

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with UI or UX design

• Experience with SQL

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and participating in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and management

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field

• ServiceNow Certified System Admin (CSA) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
