We need an experienced front-end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems by collaborating with a development team to build enterprise web applications with user-centric design.  

On our team, you’ll coordinate UI/UX designers and other developers to create a seamless user experience. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience with software development

• 3+ years of experience with designing, implementing, and testing custom web-based software solutions

• 3+ years of experience with back-end web development, including adding or retrieving data from SQL or NoSQL databases

• 3+ years of experience with using a version control system, including GIT

• 1+ year of experience with working on team that implements CI/CD

• 1+ year of experience with working on an Agile software development team

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelors degree in a Computer Science field

Nice If You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience with web development

• 1+ year of experience with Node.js and Angular

• 1+ year of experience with DevOps

• Ability to contribute to DevOps tasking

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
