Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.  Work with us as we use data science for good.  What You’ll Work On: <ul><li>Design, build, and deploy NLP models for classification, entity recognition, and text analytics. </li><li>Apply geospatial analytics to develop algorithms such as co-travel detection and movement pattern modeling. </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission challenges into data-driven solutions. </li><li>Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources, including text, geospatial, financial, order of battle, and polling data. </li><li>Evaluate model performance, optimize algorithms, and ensure scalability in operational environments. </li><li>Communicate technical findings to both technical and senior leadership audiences. </li></ul>Join us. The world can’t wait.  You Have:   <ul><li>3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning </li><li>Experience in NLP model development, including classification, entity recognition, or bias detection</li><li>Experience with Python, including libraries such as scikit-learn, spaCy, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or PyTorch</li><li>Experience with SQL and large, complex datasets</li><li>Knowledge of geospatial data analysis, including trajectory analysis, clustering, co-travel modeling, or spatial-temporal algorithms</li><li>TS/SCI clearance</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics field </li></ul>Nice If You Have:   <ul><li>Experience with Databricks for data science workflows, including building and scaling machine learning models, collaborating in notebooks, leveraging MLflow for experiment tracking and model deployment, and integrating with Spark for large-scale data processing</li><li>Experience working with the U.S. Department of Defense or defense-related data sources</li><li>Knowledge of basic data engineering principles, including ETL design, orchestration, and data pipeline requirements, to effectively partner with engineering teams </li><li>Knowledge of graph analytics, anomaly detection, or network analysis techniques </li><li>Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Master’s degree in a quantitative field </li></ul>Clearance:  Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.  CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
