Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.What You’ll Do: As a Software Engineer on our team, you’ll:<ul><li>Support firmwide talent efforts across key areas such as talent acquisition, compensation, and attrition to drive decision-making.</li><li>Design and implement intelligent agents that can perform specific tasks autonomously.</li><li>Build and maintain applications that integrate with agents to provide seamless user experiences.</li><li>Be able to support development from both a front end and backend perspective, including Full Stack.</li><li>Ensure that applications, agents, and data produced work harmoniously with existing systems and platforms.</li><li>Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.​</li><li>Continuously monitor and improve the performance of agents and applications.​</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, processes, and workflows.​</li></ul>You Have:<ul><li>2+ years of experience with application development using Python or JavaScript frameworks, such as Flask, React, Angular, or Streamlit</li><li>2+ years of experience leveraging Python language to access RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or to complete data relational tasks</li><li>2+ years of experience developing source control systems, including GitHub</li><li>Experience using SQL for querying and manipulating data</li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Ability to learn PySpark or Spark in Databricks</li><li>Ability to write and review code in front of other team members</li><li>Ability to translate technical results into clear insights and business recommendations for senior-level audiences and documenting work and communicating product specs to technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems and evaluate solutions holistically beyond the immediate technical problem to consider the broader organizational implications</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering</li></ul>Nice If You Have:   <ul><li>Experience with basic Machine Learning tasks, such as classification, regression, supervised and unsupervised leaning techniques</li><li>Experience with benchmarking models</li><li>Experience working with HRIS or ATS, Survey, or people-related datasets, including Workday</li><li>Experience utilizing PySpark or Scala for large-scale data processing</li><li>Experience writing models with and using tools such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow or Keras</li><li>Knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, such as talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning, and employee listening</li><li>Knowledge of Azure Databricks platform and notebooks</li><li>Knowledge of NLP</li><li>Knowledge of intermediate statistics</li></ul>CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
