Come join us on the adventure today!</p></div><h4><strong>About the Role:</strong></h4> <p>The Internal Audit Compliance Lead will be responsible for executing the internal audit program to ensure the effectiveness of Bolt’s compliance, financial crime, and operational controls. Operating as part of the 3rd Line of Defense, this role will conduct independent assessments, identify control weaknesses, and support timely remediation efforts. The Internal Audit Compliance Lead will work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Product teams, and serve as a liaison during partner and regulatory audits</p> <h4><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans focused on BSA/AML, OFAC, consumer protection, and licensing compliance.</li> <li>Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and issue identification across operational and compliance functions.</li> <li>Draft audit findings, prepare formal reports, and monitor remediation status through closure.</li> <li>Support audit readiness for external stakeholders (e.g., bank partners, state regulators, MTL exams).</li> <li>Assist in establishing an internal audit framework and documentation standards tailored to a FinTech environment.</li> <li>Contribute to the design of the Audit Policy and reporting procedures for the CEO and Board.</li> <li>Coordinate with 1st and 2nd Line functions to validate controls and align on risk mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Help establish a Quality Assurance (QA) function aligned with internal audit objectives.</li> <li> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div>May support SOX readiness efforts or internal control testing, depending on future regulatory or investor requirements.</div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div></div> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>Who You Are:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; CIA, CPA, or CAMS a plus.</li> <li>4–6 years of internal audit, compliance testing, or risk assurance experience. FinTech experience required. </li> <li>Knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, consumer protection laws, and financial regulations.</li> <li>Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.</li> <li>Experience with audit software/tools and GRC platforms preferred.</li> <li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
