You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists, to translate complex operational requirements into actionable technical designs.Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-wide integration solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and resilient</li><li>Define the technical platforms</li><li>Leverage modern technologies such as Application Programming Interface (API) gateways, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and serverless computing</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders</li><li>Conduct technical reviews and mentor junior architects and developers</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, Information Technology (IT), and cybersecurity, to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions</li><li>Manage the full lifecycle of integration solutions, from initial design and proof-of-concept to deployment, maintenance, and continuous (ACR))</li><li>Design and implement highly decoupled, scalable microservices architectures</li><li>Lead API Gateway management, service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd), and inter-service communication patterns</li><li>Manage Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates: define, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles</li><li>Automate deployments and infrastructure changes</li><li>Automate testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end)</li><li>Configure security scanning tools including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Static Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) integrated into CI/CD</li><li>Leverage relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) in cloud environments (RDS, Azure SQL Database)</li><li>Demonstrate understanding and experience in designing systems compliant with these Department of Defense (DoD) Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG)</li><li>Demonstrate understanding and experience in designing systems compliant with these DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG)</li><li>Implement FedRAMP requirements as they relate to DoD cloud adoption</li><li>Identity and Access Management (IAM) in cloud environments (AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory)</li><li>Implement network security principles ( Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), security groups, network Access Control Lists (ACLs), firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)</li><li>Oversee Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) logging solutions (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana Stack, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)</li><li>Implement cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, direct connect/express route, Virtual Private Network (VPNs)</li></ul>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher</li><li>5+ years of experience with software development in Agile methodology</li><li>5+ years of experience interaction with business architects, IT function architects and business executives</li><li>5+ years of experience with application modernization best practices, development, and application architecture including database</li><li>5+ years of experience with cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google, PCF/Tanzu or similar)</li><li>5+ years of experience with systems integration design differences between applications and platforms, and DevSecOps design/development</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):<ul><li>10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>Master’s degree or higher</li><li>Relevant cloud
