Boeing Global Services - Government Programs and Vertical Lift Senior Manager position will require significant interface with government customer representatives and maintaining a collaborative and positive relationship. Preferred candidate will have extensive experience with regulatory agencies FAA and DCMA. Position is located in Hazelwood, MO.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will manage individual contributors and managers performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.

  • Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.

  • Candidate to provide education and coaching on the Quality Management System.

  • Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

  • Proven ability to lead, influence and drive prevention based corrective action, and continuous improvement throughout the organization are essential.  

  • Oversee review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience with military or commercial positions in a Quality and/or Operations leadership position

  • 3+ years experience managing cross-functional teams

  • 3+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance, maintenance concepts development and sustainment, repair, and overhaul environments​

  • 3+ years of experience working with military customers and processes

  • Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance

  • Experience building relationships with customers, regulators, and certification bodies

  • Large scale project management experience

  • FAA Repair Station Part 145 knowledge and experience
