Preferred candidate will have extensive experience with regulatory agencies FAA and DCMA. Position is located in Hazelwood, MO.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Candidate will manage individual contributors and managers performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.
Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.
Candidate to provide education and coaching on the Quality Management System.
Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
Proven ability to lead, influence and drive prevention based corrective action, and continuous improvement throughout the organization are essential.
Oversee review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
5+ years of experience with military or commercial positions in a Quality and/or Operations leadership position
3+ years experience managing cross-functional teams
3+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance, maintenance concepts development and sustainment, repair, and overhaul environments
3+ years of experience working with military customers and processes
Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Secret security clearance
Experience building relationships with customers, regulators, and certification bodies
Large scale project management experience
FAA Repair Station Part 145 knowledge and experience
