Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Oversight of internal and outsourced accounting, administration, custody, financial reporting, and transfer agency functions.</li><li>Board governance and reporting.</li><li>Product lifecycle management and business strategy enablement.</li><li>Technical accounting and regulatory reporting guidance.</li><li>Portfolio trade compliance monitoring and adherence to product and regulatory guidelines and policies.</li></ul>Americas (AMRS) Product Governance and Reporting (PGR)AMRS PGR is a unit within GAAPS. The team is organized regionally to support the unique jurisdictional requirements and partners for our various fund ranges. AMRS PGR manages the fund level “structural” needs of the various fund ranges, including support to BlackRock business groups and the Board of Directors/Trustees that oversee them.Members of the AMRS PGR team are responsible for overseeing the funds’ overall control environment and manage numerous business affairs in support of our funds. These individuals will connect across GAAPS and Business Operations to manage product and regulatory changes within our fund ranges. AMRS PGR works closely with several other internal teams to deliver quality and value to our shareholders including but not limited to teams responsible for accounting oversight, financial reporting, product development, pricing, tax, legal and compliance.Role Responsibility: AMRS PGR Vice President located in Boston, Princeton, Delaware or Philadelphia<ul><li>This specific role is within the Product Implementation team of PGR. The Product Implementation team has primary responsibilities centered around advisory support, strategy and execution of the firms commercial agenda, including fund lifecycle and event management (e.g, launches, liquidations, mergers, vendor transitions, etc). Product scope includes all AMRS ranges for iShares ETFs, Open-End Mutual Funds, Money Market Funds, 529 plans and Digital Assets</li><li>Engage with tax, product, and portfolio management teams to determine fund structures, distribution practices and operational models.</li><li>Contribute towards and prepare presentations to BlackRock governance bodies (e.g. fund boards) and committees.</li><li>Participate in the investigation of operating events coordinating with cross functional colleagues.</li><li>Review and challenge policies and procedures to help evolve the operating model to best practice.</li><li>Assess the operating model for risk and efficiency, with a focus on automation and technology.</li><li>Build good relationships with business areas within BlackRock, effectively engage and lead fund launches and product change.</li><li>Oversight of outsourced functions including fund auditors, review performance of the service providers, and evaluate control environments.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>6-10 years 1940 Act investment management industry experience with fund structures such as open-end mutual funds and exchange traded funds.</li><li>Experience in ETF operations and/or ETF Fund Accounting a plus</li><li>Understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulatory reporting requirements.</li><li>Fund / product lifecycle event management such as launches, liquidations, mergers, and other restructuring events.</li><li>Familiarity with RIC tax and fund distribution requirements.</li><li>Diverse range of fund expense structures (unitary and pass thru) and methods for waivers, caps, allocation, and application of break points.</li><li>External service provider oversight.</li></ul>Project Management for regulatory and business change<ul><li>Accountability and ownership of key functions and special projects.</li><li>Vendor management experience.</li><li>Good understanding of the fund valuation and associated transaction lifecycle and key control frameworks.</li><li>Solid prioritization skills and ability to handle competing priorities.</li><li>Proven track record in implementing change management.</li><li>Develop practical and pragmatic solutions through a ‘hands on’ approach.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication capabilities with all levels, including portfolio managers, fund directors, external auditors, senior management, and vendors.</li><li>Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and passion for performance.</li></ul>&amp;#xa;For Princeton, NJ, Philadelphia, PA and Boston, MA Only the salary range for this position is USD$127,500.00 - USD$184,000.00 .
