We are looking for a motivated, upbeat and self-starter individual to be part of our team supporting the data needs for our Aladdin business. The VP/Director position will play a key role towards executing the strategic sourcing of market data to support the firm’s investment and risk management products and technology solutions.The ideal person will be high-energy, results-oriented, passionate about performance and excited about the opportunity to be a part of our team. Critical thinkers with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to simplify complex matters, working cross-functionally and build strong relationships with partner teams and assess problems and execute on solutions are welcome to apply.As a Relationship Manager in IDS you will<ul><li>Partner with members of legal and business stakeholders to negotiate complex agreements with third-party market data providers for Aladdin</li><li>Serve as an advisor to Aladdin teams in the development of data strategies and new product offerings for clients</li><li>Collaborate with IDS’s Client Onboarding Services (COS) Team and the Aladdin business to address market data questions for Aladdin clients</li><li>Understand and share industry trends, market data product offerings and market intelligence.</li></ul>The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:<ul><li>Bachelors degree preferably in finance, business, economics or related area; law degree is a plus</li><li>Minimum of 7-10+ years of financial services; market data industry experience preferred</li><li>Proven ability to interpret contract terms and conditions and communicate guidance to all levels, including senior management</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office applications, and ability to quickly learn</li><li>Outstanding verbal, written and listening skills</li><li>Diligent and high energy individual committed to excellence</li><li>Must be extremely detailed oriented</li><li>Comfort interacting with and influencing a broad range of audiences</li><li>Ambitious, proactive problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to stretch outside your comfort zone and grow</li><li>Passion for being a part of a collaborative team</li><li>Familiarity with the Aladdin platform or similar enterprise investment management solutions a plus</li></ul>&amp;#xa;For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$200,000.00 - USD$140,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
