The After-Tax Wealth Strategist has the key directive of explaining the intersection of taxation and investing—thus “after-tax investing”. The Investment Strategist explains the Aperio Direct Indexing quantitative investment process, investment philosophy, and strategies to clients and prospects, and supports clients with complex portfolio transition and construction problems involving risk, tax, and customization prioritiesAfter-Tax Wealth Strategist Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide subject matter expertise, both internally and externally, around the intersection of investing, taxes and estate planning</li><li>Framing of choices and solution set</li><li>Provide internal and external thought leadership on after-tax wealth strategy solutions</li><li>Participate in internal and external webinars and events</li><li>Interact with portfolio management, research, business development and clients</li><li>Stay current on proposed and actual changes in tax legislation and planning developments</li><li>Coordinate with outside experts</li><li>Interface with internal and external clients</li><li>Ability to proactively brainstorm around issues clients may face</li><li>Train others in the areas mentioned above</li></ul>Investment Strategist Key Responsibilities:·      Support our clients with modeling involving the construction and management of equity portfolios using quantitative techniques (optimization)·      Explain complex information during client and prospect meetings in an easy-to-understand manner·      Partner with our clients to understand their goals and construct often-complex analyses that help them understand the tradeoffs among competing investment objectives·      Serve as subject matter expert on investment content used internally and externally·      Collaborate with the team and others at Aperio to create and deliver information on various investment topics that strengthens internal knowledge and enables our client-facing team to more thoughtfully and efficiently support clients and prospects·      Create client-friendly versions of research materials  Requirements:<ul><li>CFA, CFP, JD, CPA or experience as a wealth advisor a plus</li><li>Minimum 5 years in wealth management, law firm, public accounting, or similar roles </li><li>Expertise in the following areas:</li><li>Asset allocation</li><li>Asset location</li><li>Portfolio theory</li><li>Risk</li><li>Strong knowledge in the following areas:</li><li>Income tax strategies</li><li>Wealth transfer planning strategies</li><li>Trust structures</li><li>Estate planning</li><li>Charitable giving and philanthropy</li><li>Retirement planning</li><li>Concentrated stock solutions</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills</li><li>Ability to engage with a client and their ecosystem including hearing their goals and creatively brainstorming on solutions</li><li>Strong financial modelling skills</li></ul>&amp;#xa;For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$155,000.00 - USD$210,000.00 .
