Testing<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits of web applications, mobile apps, and digital content using automated and manual testing methods</li><li>Implement accessibility solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA specifications</li><li>Develop and maintain accessibility testing frameworks and automated testing pipelines</li><li>Create accessible component libraries and design system elements</li><li>Perform screen reader testing (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard navigation verification</li><li>Collaborate with Design, Development, and QA teams to integrate accessibility testing into CI/CD workflows</li></ul> Standards &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure digital products comply with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards, Section 508, ADA, and other international accessibility regulations</li><li>Stay current with accessibility standards, assistive technologies, and industry best practices</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for accessibility compliance</li></ul>  <ul><li>Document accessibility requirements and create technical specifications</li><li>Support legal and compliance teams with accessibility-related inquiries</li></ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Partner with UX/UI designers to create accessible user experiences from concept to implementation</li><li>Work closely with development teams to integrate accessibility into coding standards and practices</li><li>Collaborate with product managers to prioritize accessibility features and requirements</li><li>Provide technical guidance to content creators and digital marketers on accessible content practices</li><li>Support vendor evaluations and procurement processes from an accessibility perspective</li></ul> Education &amp; Advocacy<ul><li>Conduct accessibility training for developers, designers, and content creators</li><li>Create documentation, guidelines, and best practice resources for internal teams</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert on accessibility topics across the organization</li><li>Mentor team members on accessibility implementation and testing techniques</li><li>Present accessibility findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership</li></ul> Required QualificationsTechnical Skills<ul><li>6+ years of experience in web development with a focus on accessibility implementation</li><li>Proficiency in web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design</li><li>Deep knowledge of accessibility standards: WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, ARIA specifications</li><li>Experience with accessibility testing tools: axe DevTools, WAVE, Pa11y, Lighthouse, Color Contrast Analyzers</li><li>Experience with a Content Management System: Adobe Experience Manager, Teamsite</li><li>Assistive technology expertise: Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard navigation, voice recognition software</li><li>Development frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar modern JavaScript frameworks</li><li>Version control systems: Wiki, Azure DevOps, Git, SVN, and collaborative development workflows</li></ul> Accessibility Expertise <ul><li>Understanding of disability types and how they impact digital experiences</li><li>Understanding of platform accessibility APIs (Web Accessibility API, UIAutomation, Accessibility Framework)</li><li>Knowledge of the design systems and component testing methodologies</li><li>Knowledge of assistive technologies and their interaction with web content</li><li>Experience with accessibility testing methodologies and user research</li><li>Familiarity with legal requirements and compliance frameworks</li><li>Understanding of inclusive design principles and universal design concepts</li></ul> Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills</li><li>Passion for inclusive design and user advocacy</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously</li></ul> Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Technical Experience<ul><li>5+ years of accessibility engineering experience in enterprise environments</li><li>Experience with mobile accessibility (iOS/Android) and native app development</li><li>Knowledge of backend accessibility considerations, Accessibility API design, and data structures that support assistive technologies</li><li>Familiarity with content management systems and their accessibility features</li><li>Experience with design systems and component library development</li></ul> Certifications &amp; Education<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field</li><li>Advanced training in accessibility-specific technologies and methodologies</li></ul> Industry Experience<ul><li>Knowledge of international accessibility standards (EN 301 549, AODA, ADA)</li><li>Experience with accessibility auditing and remediation at scale</li><li>Background in user experience research with a focus on accessibility</li></ul> Leadership &amp; Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
