This business provides a professional work environment that offers both challenging/growth assignments and work life balance, an Agile development practice and workloads that are varied.Qualifications/ Competencies:<ul><li>B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline</li><li>4+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience in Java</li><li>4+ years of experience with Open-Source tools (Spring, Hibernate, Apache, Maven, JUnit, etc.).</li><li>3+ years’ experience with relational database development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling). Sybase experience preferred.</li><li>Data engineer experience on platforms like Snowflake is a plus or experience developing python scripts / orchestration frameworks like Airflow that perform ETL operations is a plus</li></ul>Good to have:<ul><li>Experience with at least one NoSQL Database (e.g. Apache Cassandra) and one scripting language (Perl/Python)</li><li>Experience with cloud native development (Kubernetes, Docker), open source publish-subscribe frameworks like Apache Kafka.</li><li>Enthusiasm and ability to work in a team-environment, multi-tasking, collaboration and effective communication skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Interest in financial markets is preferred.</li></ul>&amp;#xa;For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$132,500.00 - USD$162,000.00 .
