We thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace challenges as opportunities to shape the future, together. </span></div><div><span> </span></div><div><b><span>The Position  </span></b></div><div><span>We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our small but dynamic Finance team, reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance. </span></div><div><span>This role is critical as the company continues to scale up, requiring a hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting skills, financial analysis capabilities, and experience leading accounting operations. The Controller will lead the accounting team and partner closely with executive leadership across Finance, FP&amp;A, Operations, Board of Directors and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>This position combines traditional accounting leadership with financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A) responsibilities, making it ideal for a candidate eager to take ownership of both operational execution and be a partner in strategic financial decision-making across the entire company.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b><span>Key Responsibilities </span></b></div><div><u><span>Accounting Cycle Ownership:</span></u></div><div><span>Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle including GL, A/P, A/R, revenue, inventory/cost, payroll, and financial reporting. </span></div><div><span>Lead the month-end close process, including journal entry approvals, accruals, reconciliations, COGS, and inventory accounting. </span></div><div><span>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. </span></div><div><span>Review balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and month-over-month financial performance. </span></div><div><span>Ensure timely month end close procedures and accuracy of reporting packages (Board Pack, FP&amp;A actuals, cash forecast). </span></div><div><span>Maintain internal controls and compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><u><span>Treasury/Execution</span></u><span> </span></div><div><span>Manage A/P runs (bi-weekly) and payroll review/approvals (bi-weekly). </span></div><div><span>Approve and oversee wires, ACH, and positive pay (weekly). </span></div><div><span>Monitor and approve daily transactional activity, including  vendor activity. </span></div><div><span> </span></div><div><u><span>Tax &amp; Compliance </span></u></div><div><span>Coordinate annual tax returns and R&amp;D tax credits. </span></div><div><span>Oversee sales &amp; use tax filings (monthly/quarterly). </span></div><div><span>Manage business and R&amp;D surveys (annual). </span></div><div><span> </span></div><div><u><span>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) </span></u></div><div><span>Partner on preparation of annual budgets, re-forecasts, and cash forecasts. </span></div><div><span>Perform monthly revenue reviews, cost and margin analysis, and financial modeling. </span></div><div><span>Collaborate effectively with Operations, R&amp;D, and Business Development on customer profitability, pipeline forecasting, and pricing. </span></div><div><span>Prepare variance analysis, Board-level reporting, and provide ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making. </span></div><div><span> </span></div><div><u><span>Systems &amp; Process Improvement </span></u></div><div><span>Own NetSuite ERP administration, including maintenance of the chart of accounts, reporting, and system optimization. Lead team in system optimization, manage external consultant relationships for NetSuite support and enhancements. </span></div><div><span>Lead the development, documentation, implementation and monitoring of internal control policies and accounting procedures. </span></div><div><span>Drive accuracy and efficiency in reporting processes; drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives. </span></div><div><br /></div><h3>Key Qualifications / Experience:</h3><ul><li>Active current CPA license required, in addition to Bachelor / MS in Accounting or related degree</li><li>Extensive subject matter expertise in NetSuite ERP administration required  </li><li>Demonstrated success in managing a monthly close process and preparing consolidated financial statements </li><li>7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or Controller level position</li><li>Exemplary technical knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and inventory costing. </li><li>Exposure to FP&amp;A, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis </li><li>Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail. </li><li>Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. </li><li>Prior public company or PE-backed company experience preferred, experience in medical device, manufacturing and technology environments highly desirable</li></ul><h3>Key Capabilities</h3><ul><li>People Leadership: Positively and proactively engages effectively with Finance team and works cross-functionally with departments across the Company to achieve results.
