You’ll do this by applying a critical and analytical lens to help you understand how customers can better manage their finances with BILL. You’ll use your skills to focus not only on refining and improving our existing core product capabilities, but exploring and evaluating opportunities to expand our core product offering to better help our customers put their finances on autopilot. Takes a leadership role in design discussions with cross-functional teams, adapting communication styles to various organizational levels, and providing detailed explanations of design choices that connect to user needs and business goals.</li> <li>Works with greater autonomy on projects. May provide guidance to junior designers. Models design principles and company values.</li> <li>Consistently collaborates across departments. Fosters cross-functional collaboration as co-lead with Product Managers (PM) and Engineering Managers (EM), demonstrating effective communication within and outside their immediate team. Plays a role in defining design strategies that align with the teams objectives, providing input into the teams roadmap based on design insights.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We’d love to chat if you have:</strong></p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design projects from concept to launch. Previous experience in FinTech or a related industry is a plus.</p> <p><strong>Skills:</strong> Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. </p> <p><strong>Business Acumen: </strong>Demonstrates a strong understanding of the business drivers for their product area and proactively identifies opportunities to create design solutions that meet both user and business needs effectively.</p> <p><strong>Product Design Craft: </strong>Demonstrates a strong command of design principles and consistently produces high-quality, innovative, and user-centered designs, effectively navigating constraints and contributing to the evolution of design systems.</p> <p><strong>Customer Centricity: </strong>Deeply understands user needs and advocates for user-centered design principles, proactively identifying opportunities to solve user problems and enhance their experience through design.</p> <p><strong>Influence: </strong>Advocate for user-centered design principles to stakeholders. Consistently influence others to prioritize design solutions, connect customer stories to their design rationale.
