Profile Description

  • Lead a team of [9] globally located professionals in support of both institutional and intermediary distribution channels, to create ‘best in class’ RFPs, DDQs, consultant questionnaires, strategy narratives for consultant databases as well as AUM and personnel reporting.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Voya IM’s Institutional and Intermediary business in order to add value to the completion of RFIs, RFPs, consultant questionnaires and databases.
  • Guide the team in the completion of RFPs RFPs, consultant questionnaires, client requests and industry surveys so as to accurately and favorably represent Voya IM’s investment products and services in a timely manner.
  • Direct and assign the workflow among the RFP team members, including content database management.
  • Provide strategic insights and participate in broader discussions regarding products and placement of these in databases as well as in the vetting process for new RFP opportunities.
  • Apply firm and product knowledge while drafting, editing and/or refining responses.
  • Maintain and continue to improve structured processes maximizing efficiency and the utilization of technology.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships within and outside the client group, including sales and consultant relations professionals, client service, portfolio specialists, portfolio managers, legal, compliance, product management, risk, institutional consultants, vendors and others.
  • Ensure completion of and/or handle ad-hoc projects, coordinate with IT if required and utilize or allocate resources appropriately.
  • Review and refine processes for collection, input and management of content and data.
  • Test data periodically for accuracy and integrity; ensure a comprehensive annual review of all qualitative data is completed in conjunction with the respective investment teams.
  • Successfully lead and develop the team in order to create a challenging and motivating work environment.
  • This position is based in our Atlanta or New York offices to be in close proximity to one of our major investment and product management locations.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree with at least 10 years of work experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the investment management business, products and services preferably within a multi- asset class firm, knowledge of private and alternatives investments is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of RFP-specific experience; demonstrated in-depth understanding of the RFP, RFP content management systems as well as consultant questionnaire and database processes.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and creative problem solving skills, including demonstrated success with Responsiv and/or other RFP content management systems, experience with implementing artificial intelligence in RFPs a plus.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective team player.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team of varying levels of experience in multiple locations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external parties (Voya colleagues, prospects, consultants, clients, vendors).
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicting situations with internal and external parties.
  • Openness to feedback and fresh ideas from across the team.
  • Strong project management, organization, planning and presentation skills with complementary technology skillset.
  • Willingness to travel, as needed.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • MBA, CFA and/or CAIA is a plus.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$128,000 - $160,000 USD
