Based in Sydney, this is a unique player/coach role where you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Account Directors while also managing a small personal portfolio of strategic accounts. Your primary focus will be on driving renewals and growth within a territory of $1B+ enterprise clients (Brands &amp; Retail), as well as new logo acquisition.</div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Leadership &amp; Account Management: </b>This pivotal player/coach role is responsible for both leading the APAC Strategic Sales team and directly managing a small portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts. This role requires a leader who can not only inspire a team but also set a personal example by driving individual sales success.</li><li><b>Lead a High-Performing Team:</b> Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Directors, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional growth. This includes hiring and managing top talent, providing regular coaching and feedback, and encouraging the team to hit quarterly revenue goals.</li><li><b>Drive Revenue &amp; Strategic Growth:</b> Oversee and drive core focus on growing revenue within the APAC strategic accounts to increase market share and achieve ambitious revenue goals. Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory, setting clear goals for revenue growth, retention, and market penetration.</li><li><b>Full-Cycle Ownership:</b> Manage a personal portfolio of strategic accounts and prospects, acting as a trusted advisor to senior-level executives. This involves owning the entire customer lifecycle, from identifying target accounts and generating new opportunities to ensuring a high rate of renewals and expansion.</li><li><b>Consultative Selling &amp; Value Articulation:</b> Use two-way discovery to uncover customer needs and match solutions to those needs. You will be responsible for articulating a vision that resonates with the customer and demonstrates clear value, effectively creating and articulating ROI in the negotiation process to bring the utmost value to both the customer and Bazaarvoice.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Forecasting:</b> Partner with the Global Sales Teams, Client Success, Pre-sales, and Client Delivery to achieve regional growth objectives. Ensure accurate forecasting to support the teams and overarching revenue goals, and serve as the point of escalation for negotiation and pricing for C-level conversations across your own account base.</li><li><b>Business Acumen:</b> Maintain a strong understanding of business practices, industry trends, competitors, and the social media environment throughout each renewal and sales cycle to build trusted, long-lasting relationships.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications &amp; Skills</h3><ul><li>A minimum of 6+ years of experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.</li><li>Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, both as a leader and an individual contributor.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions to large enterprise clients, preferably within the retail or brand space.</li><li>Proven experience selling into and navigating large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders.</li><li>Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing $1B+ retailers and brands, with the ability to articulate how Bazaarvoices solutions can solve their business problems.</li><li>Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with a passion for developing talent and building high-performing, collaborative teams.</li><li>Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically about market dynamics and growth opportunities.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>High level of transparency and integrity.</li></ul><h3>Why Bazaarvoice</h3><ul><li>We believe in the power of authenticity and are committed to helping brands and retailers create genuine connections with their customers.
