Veeva Vault Application Manager

The Veeva Enablement Platform within the IT Technology and Engineering area is enabling the Business Functions to gain competitive advantage through process and data integration and helping patients with Bayers products.

Our contribution is the provisioning and maintenance of state-of-the-art IT platforms and architecture based on deep business process and technology knowledge. We collaborate with our colleagues in the R&D (Research & Development) and Regulatory Affairs domains in continuously improving and transforming our solution portfolio.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

You ensure the operation of Veeva Vault RIM application to keep it audit and inspection ready
You collaborate with international stakeholders within the Business function (Global Reg Ops)
You gain a thorough understanding about the business processes and specific processes and data integration requirements to be able to strategically consult, implement, execute and cross-collaborate
You guarantee regulatory compliance of the solutions
You drive innovation within projects and platform lifecycle management
You steer external suppliers globally
You steer mid-sized strategic IT platforms and projects with full responsibility including financials

Qualifications & competencies:

University degree in science or information technology, preferably Masterss degree
Significant professional experience in the support of life science business functions and several years of experience in IT platform/project/product management and a broad knowledge in the area of consulting
You have a profound knowledge of business processes in R&D/ Regulatory Affairs
GxP expertise is required
Veeva RIM expertise is required, Veeva certification (Platform, eTMF, RIM etc.) preferred
You have proven leadership, intercultural and motivational skills to manage a functional IT team
A solid economical experience as well as an entrepreneurial behavior is required
Strong communication, presentation and decision-making skills distinguish you
You have a passion to experiment and transfer innovative ideas into real solutions
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
