BMO Bank N.A. seeks Head, Professional Development in Chicago, IL to identify business needs and deliver effective learning and performance-focused programs for assigned portfolios to support business/group strategy. Develop, promote, maintain, and actively manage designated learning programs, performing periodic reviews, analyzing program outcomes, providing insights, and making recommendations for enhancements/changes. Ensure the effective and efficient execution of all program components, including change management and communications are in place. Build interdependent teams that collaborate across functional and operating groups to create the highest value for all stakeholders. Attract, retain, and enable the career development of top talent. Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders for making business decisions and implementing strategic initiatives. Design measurable sustainment strategies including assessing and recommending mitigations for industry/segment-specific risks and prioritizing opportunities presented by internal and external stakeholders. Design and implement multi-year learning program strategies. Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals. Develop the business case by identifying needs, analyzing potential options, and assessing expected return on investment. Define business requirements for analytics and reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making. Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards. Collaborate across BMO to develop communications strategies and ensure consistency of messaging to positively influence or change behavior. Lead the execution of operational programs and assess and adapt as needed to ensure quality.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus nine (9) years of experience in managing cross functional teams and external partners to set and implement business strategy in the corporate banking industry or, alternatively, a Masters degree in Finance or Economics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and seven (7) years of experience in managing cross functional teams and external partners to set and implement business strategy in the corporate banking industry. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Managing corporate client profiles in the North American banking industry and cooperating with all banking business lines and products including treasury management, trade finance, investment banking, wealth management, retail banking; Managing banking sales and learning platforms (client relationship management, learning and marketing platforms) and leading training programs; Managing commercial banking sales teams and cross functional teams; and leading multiple large sales and learning strategy programs to build relationships and influence decision making for executives. Hybrid role - 2 days per week remote. 10% domestic and international travel required.

The salary for this specific position in Chicago, Illinois is $250,000.00/year.

$128,000.00 - $238,000.00

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
