In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance applications on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the .NET ecosystem, extensive experience with cloud services, and a passion for building robust backend systems and APIs.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Architect &amp; Develop: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code for our core applications using the latest .NET frameworks.</li><li>Embrace the Cloud: Develop and deploy cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure, leveraging technologies like Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database to ensure scalability and resilience.</li><li>Automate Deployments: Create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline our deployment processes and improve time-to-market.</li><li>API Design: Build and maintain clean, well-documented RESTful APIs that serve as the backbone for our web and mobile applications.</li><li>Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality features.</li><li>Mentor &amp; Lead: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, contribute to code reviews, and champion best practices in software development.</li><li>Troubleshooting &amp; Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues across the application stack.</li><li>Code Quality &amp; Mentorship: Write clean, efficient, and testable code. Champion best practices in software development and conduct code reviews to mentor other team members.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET (.NET Core, <a href="http://asp.net/">ASP.NET</a> Core).</li><li>Proven, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.</li><li>A strong understanding of microservice architecture and experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.</li><li>Proficiency with version control using Git and CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps.</li><li>Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles (e.g., SOLID).</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.</li><li>Familiarity with other Azure services such as Azure Service Bus, Key Vault, or Application Insights.</li><li>Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., Azure Developer Associate AZ-204).</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>The salary range for this position is $91,725 - $122,300 / year.The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
