As we expand our Enterprise Customer Success operations in Asia Pacific, we are looking for a talented, creative and strong business-focused <b>Principal Solution Architect</b>, proficient in both Japanese and English languages to join our dynamic team.</p><p>You will be based in Japan where Autodesk has a fantastic Tokyo office that can be used. The team enjoy working from this location to maximize opportunities for in-person collaboration. Autodesk has a flexible/hybrid working policy which also supports our people to work remotely from home. You will report to the Snr Manager for Professional Services based in Japan.</p><p></p><p>As a Principal Solution Architect, you will be a technical subject matter expert with experience defining and integrating Autodesk technology-based solutions that create competitive advantage for companies. Youll work with our customers leadership teams to architect solutions with specifications that can be traced to business strategy and success metrics.</p><p></p><p>Employing industry standard methodologies and frameworks, youll lead the build of solutions that improve our customers business processes with seamless integration into their enterprise systems. By educating customers on architecture considerations, estimating effort and resources required, and advising on implementation decisions, youll create a clear path to successfully develop, integrate, and deploy new solutions.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead discovery process with customers to understand business challenges and requirements</li><li>Translate customer business needs into IT system architecture</li><li>Validates customers architecture feasibility including considering Autodesk API capabilities</li><li>Development of PoC level applications to prove feasibility and de-risk further development</li><li>Apply change management knowledge to deployment of Autodesk solutions</li><li>Collaborate with internal account teams and customers on how Autodesk solutions fit into broader programs of work</li><li>Estimates required effort and resources for solution development and implementation</li><li>Be a liaison between customer IT and Business stakeholders</li><li>Lead and provide oversight for solution development and implementation teams</li><li>Participate in code reviews</li><li>Be a trusted advisor to the customer</li><li>Keep updated with technology trends affecting customers</li><li>Represent Autodesk solutions at conferences, in whitepapers and blogs</li><li>Collaborate with our teams for continuous improvement of reference architectures and solutions</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Architecture/Engineering/Construction/Manufacturing/Automotive related field</li><li>5+ years of software engineering experience</li><li>.NET skills.
