We are looking for a talented entry-level Software Engineer to join the Remote Assist team with the potential to contribute across the full stack. In this role you will: <ul> <li>Help build the mission-critical Remote Assist service used to support Aurora’s autonomous fleet.</li> <li>Work across a complex tech stack with frontend, backend, and onboard systems working together.</li> <li>Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code to ensure we maintain a reliable service.</li> <li>Gain deep experience with a variety of technologies like Typescript, React, Golang, gRPC, C++, and AWS.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications: <ul> <li>BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>1 year of internship or professional engineering experience.</li> <li>A solid grasp of computer science concepts and software engineering principles.</li> <li>Proficiency in frontend development, backend development, and the integration of both into a functional web tool.</li> <li>A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements.</li> <li>The ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.</li> </ul> Desirable Qualifications: <ul> <li>Experience with Typescript and React for frontend development.</li> <li>Experience with Golang, gRPC, and AWS for backend development.</li> <li>Experience in onboard C++ development for autonomous vehicles or other robotics.</li> <li>Experience in transportation, logistics, or other time-sensitive operations.</li> </ul> The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $157,000. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
