About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.

Founded in New Zealand 11 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good.

In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the worlds largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.

Were also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact—whether thats enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, were committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.

The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Demand Generation to lead the strategy and execution of our global demand efforts. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building and scaling a predictable pipeline engine across key markets. You’ll own pipeline generation, architecting campaigns and programs that align to the full customer journey—generating awareness, accelerating pipeline, and supporting expansion opportunities with existing accounts.

You’ll report directly to the CMO and work closely with Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to drive qualified pipeline growth and revenue performance.

Your Mission: To design and execute a scalable, repeatable, and data-driven demand generation function that supports Auror’s revenue goals.

Practically this will involve:

  • Own global demand generation strategy and pipeline generation across new logo acquisition and customer expansion.
  • Architect the full-funnel marketing engine, integrating ABM, lead-based, and partner motions.
  • Build and optimise multi-channel programs across content, digital, email, events, field marketing, and paid media.
  • Partner with RevOps to define and track key metrics (MQLs, SALs, SQLs, pipeline velocity, CAC, ROI, etc.).
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to develop positioning and messaging that converts.
  • Align closely with Sales to orchestrate campaigns, improve handoffs, and support pipeline acceleration.
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Customer Success to support upsell, cross-sell, advocacy, and retention initiatives.
  • Leverage market insights, customer data, and intent signals to shape targeting and campaign strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of demand marketers and program managers.
  • Treat the website as a key growth lever, optimising for conversions to turn traffic into pipeline.
  • Own the demand tech stack roadmap in partnership with RevOps (e.g. HubSpot, 6sense, Salesforce, Clay, etc.).
  • Tailor and execute region-specific programs across global markets (ANZ, North America, UK).

You’ll be reporting to Heather Gadonniex, Acting Chief Marketing Officer

I’ve spent the last two decades helping growth-stage companies find their focus, align their teams, and build go-to-market systems that scale without losing their magic. I’m an operator and builder by nature, and I love co-creating clarity with teams and setting a high bar for performance and purpose.

I’m passionate about helping marketing teams become market makers and revenue engines, not just service departments. I’m also a big believer in unifying cross-functional teams around a common vision and operating cadence, maintaining collaboration and strengthening culture as we grow. At Auror, I’m excited to recruit team members that thrive in collaborative environments and want to play a critical role in shaping our next chapter of our growth.

Outside of work, I spend my time on our intergenerational family vineyard wrangling two boys, enjoy a slow-food meal paired with good wine and good people, and attempting to get my daily dose of mindfulness and exercise through yoga and pilates.

Were looking for some who

  • Has deep expertise in B2B SaaS marketing, with a particular focus on demand generation and revenue marketing.
  • Has led teams and built demand functions in fast-scaling companies.
  • Is both strategic and hands-on; you can see the big picture and roll up your sleeves to execute.
  • Is fluent in pipeline math and marketing analytics; you know your way around a funnel and can confidently present performance to executive stakeholders.
  • Is confident in owning a pipeline generation target.
  • Understands ABM and full-funnel campaign architecture.
  • Thrives in cross-functional environments and knows how to bring Sales, Marketing, and RevOps into lockstep.
  • Has experience designing programs for different geographic markets.
  • Brings curiosity, humility, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Possesses strong executive presence and can translate marketing performance into business impact.

We are looking for people who demonstrate a strong alignment to our Guiding Principles (you can find these on our Careers page).

Auror is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible application process to all candidates and we are actively working to improve diversity within the tech industry.
