Strategic Planning & Execution:
Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of People Insights, helping to set and execute strategic priorities. Ensure alignment across the People Insights team and cross-functional partners, driving initiatives that support the organization’s goals.
Design and manage operational processes and cadences, including leadership meetings, OKR/QBR sessions, and strategy planning. Develop and implement new processes and tools to optimize team efficiency and streamline operations.
Lead complex and ambiguous projects from inception to execution, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are delivered on time. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and challenges.
Collaboration and Influence:
Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and enhance collaboration.
Facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities.
Communicate effectively up, down, and across the organization.
Data Analysis & Storytelling:
Conduct business research and analysis to provide actionable insights.
Craft effective narratives and recommendations for executives, leverage storytelling with data to build trust, align vision, and drive action.
Develop and track organization-level goals to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and processes.
Leadership & Mentoring:
Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Mentor and support team members in developing their skills.
Your background
12+ years of relevant professional experience turning a strategy into executable plans and driving high visibility projects
Exceptional analytical and data analysis skills, drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to varied audiences
Experience in diagnosing pain points for teams, moving them to good, and going the extra mile to ensure they are great
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Desired:
Experience in People Analytics, Workforce Planning, or related fields.
Experience with executive-level communications and reporting.
Proficiency in SQL AND another data manipulation programming language (e.g. Python, R)
Experience of advanced statistical methods (e.g., could include: regression, cluster analysis, HLM, social network analysis, text analysis, longitudinal methods, etc.)
An understanding of the SaaS business model and key metrics
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidates skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $207,400 - $276,500
Zone B: $186,600 - $248,800
Zone C: $172,100 - $229,500
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
