Review high-level milestones, mitigate risks, reduce ambiguity, and bring clarity to complex projects.</li><li>Product &amp; Tech Knowledge: Demonstrate deep understanding of products and technologies across multiple business areas. Resolve complex technical questions, design services/products to meet customer needs, and drive adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.</li><li>Craft Excellence: Exhibit mastery in interaction and visual design, ensuring seamless and consistent experiences across products and services. Redefine user experience, anticipate trends, and integrate new technologies and tools.</li><li>Systems &amp; Architecture: Influence the development of new systems and architectures to create efficient and effective experiences across business areas and functions.</li><li>Direction: Influence the technical direction and forward path of design initiatives to achieve broad impact.</li><li>Effective Communication &amp; Influence: Build trust and alignment across business areas and senior leadership. Lead discussions, facilitate consensus, and drive influence for the design vision at the executive level.</li><li>Analytical Thinking: Proactively solve complex issues, provide organizational expertise, and optimize linkages between structure, people, process, and technology.</li><li>Organizational Impact: Lead through change, embrace curiosity, and support colleagues through complex situations. Proactively provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to develop self and others.</li></ul> <ul><li>Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in UX, product, or interaction design, with a proven track record of delivering outcomes and driving product direction.</li><li>Expertise in interaction and visual design, systems thinking, and design research.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level and across multiple business areas.</li><li>Strong facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills.</li><li>Experience mentoring and developing other designers.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred.</li></ul>CompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidates skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.
