So, ask us about some of our recent pledges for Womens Equality and being a Disability Confident and Inclusive Employer’.Your Role Within The Team:<ul><li>Plan, design, and implement systems related to LRT operations, including signaling, communication, power supply, and maintenance.</li><li>Ensure compliance with project agreements, quality, safety, environmental standards, and applicable legislation.</li><li>Prioritize and manage the design, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of systems.</li><li>Work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure effective system integration.</li><li>Coordinate with design teams for project handover from design to construction and from construction to testing and commissioning.</li><li>Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders, including governmental agencies, contractors, and vendors. </li><li>Manage the construction process to ensure infrastructure is built according to the schedule. </li><li>Oversee the development and implementation of systems to optimize performance, safety, and passenger experience.</li></ul>Skills and Experience:<ul><li>Essential – A Degree qualification with a minimum 8-10 year relevant working experience. A Master’s degree will be preferred.</li><li>Highly desirable – Professional development / Accreditation in the field of Systems Engineering.</li><li>Highly desirable – Experience in Systems Engineering experience in a rail environment, specifically in North America/Canada region.</li><li>Highly desirable – Experience in developing requirements in Doors Management.</li><li>Highly desirable – Knowledge of Systems Integration Documents, Project. management practices, processes and principles, and experience of putting them into action.</li><li>Highly Desirable – Experience of applying practically IEEE 15288 Systems and Software Engineering standards, INCOSE standards.</li><li>Experience of multi-disciplinary technical environments.</li><li>Excellent written, presentation and communication/briefing skills; able to present to audiences of peers.</li><li>Excellent relationship skills; able to build trust and advocacy with others.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills; able to engage staff and address issues effectively.</li></ul>The Ideal Candidate:<ul><li>Bachelors or Masters degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Extensive experience in systems engineering, preferably in rail or transit projects.</li><li>Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Canada.</li><li>Strong project management and leadership skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of LRT systems, including signaling, communication, and power supply.</li></ul>Time Type: Full timeWhat We Can Offer You:Varied, interesting and meaningful work.A hybrid working environment with flexibility and great opportunities.Opportunities for training and, as the team grows, career progression or sideways moves.An opportunity to work within a large global multi-disciplinary consultancy on a mission to change the ways we approach business as usual.Why work for AtkinsRéalis?We at AtkinsRéalis are committed to developing its people both personally and professionally.
